POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Principal, instruct courses in Science to high school pupils utilizing content standards and course of study adopted by the school.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: E = Essential Duties1. Provides individual or small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of students and accommodates circumstances where a variety of projects and experiments are being worked on simultaneously E2. Instructs pupil in proper use, care, and safe handling of chemicals, science equipment, plant and animal life E3. Establishes and maintains standards of pupil behavior for a productive learning environment during class sessions, laboratory sessions, and field trips E4. Communicates with parents and school counselors on pupil progress E5. Participates in faculty committees and sponsorship of student activities E6. Other duties as assigned E

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:1. Ability to work cooperatively2. Knowledge of School adopted science curriculum3 Knowledge of Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
